257 Penalty Minutes Handed Out During New Years Eve Hockey Brawl
Usually on New Years Eve many come together for a ball/dance, in this case, it's a brawl, not ball! Yesterday a British Columbia junior game started off with a BANG, that game was between the Beaver Valley Nitehawks and the Nelson Leafs.
The game consisted of only four goals scored with a combined two-hundred and fifty-seven penalty minutes tallied up, containing eight fighting majors, eight ten-minute misconducts and nine game misconducts.
There is no clarity as to any discipline handed out yet, but you can only imagine suspensions may be incoming.
