When the Montreal Canadiens stepped up to the podium at the 2012 NHL Entry Draft and selected Sarnia Stings center Alex Galchenyuk 3rd overall many people said the Canadiens won the draft.

Galchenyuk was rumored to be possibly taken first overall by the Edmonton Oilers, so the Canadiens getting him at number three was a steal. Unfortunately Galchenyuk never blossomed into the number one center role the Canadiens.
However, after being not properly developed by the Canadiens as well as things in his personal life away from hockey Galchenyuk's career went down hill drastically and was traded from team to team.
Last season, the Arizona Coyotes signed Galchenyuk to a professional tryout contract and the veteran forward managed to earn his spot on the roster, signing a a one-year, $750,000 contract. Then, on July 13, he became an unrestricted free agent and, to this day still has yet to find a home for the upcoming season.
It's so hard to believe a player who had so much skill like Chucky has may see his NHL career end this way.
