The Hamilton Bulldogs Make A Groundbreaking Announcement

As TSN revealed the Hamilton Bulldogs hired a member of Team Canada:s Women's hockey forward Laura Fortino as an Assistant Coach.

With Fortino's promotion, she becomes the first female assistant coach in OHL history, further opening the door for women's hockey and to grow the game as a whole.

Fortino is a Canadian ice hockey player for Markham Thunder October 3, 2011, she was named to the Team Canada roster that participated in the 2011 4 Nations Cup.[1] Of note, she was the first overall selection in the 2014 CWHL Draft.[2]
