Bruce Boudreau has been incredible for the Canucks this season. Of course, they didn't make the Playoffs, but they would probably be currently playing if it wasn't for this bad start this season.
He won 32 of the 57 games he coached this season in Vancouver. That's not bad...
He literally turned this team around when he was appointed behind the bench.
His future is still unclear. Of course, the Canucks would love to bring him back, but both parties have to agree on a new deal. Boudreau said that he wants to come back, so it's probable that he will be the Canucks head coach next year.

However, Rob Simpson, from VanHockeyNow, linked Boudreau to the Flyers. The journalist wrote that it is something doable for Chuck Fletcher. The current Flyers GM knows well Boudreau, as he hired him in 2016 as the Wild head coach.
"Not many dominoes at all would have to fall into place for Boudreau to coach the Philadelphia Flyers. The club's current general manager Chuck Fletcher hired Boudreau in May of 2016 to be the head coach of the Minnesota Wild (...) Oddly enough, the last full-time head coach of the Minnesota Wild before Boudreau took over was Mike Yeo. John Torchetti had served as an interim. This scenario would involve a bit of history repeating itself," said Simpson.
The scenario seems still unlikely. Like stated before Boudreau wants to continue in Vancouver. And, to be honest, there's a lot of good candidates out there for the head coaching job. Fletcher will have to find the best person to lead his players.
