It is hoped that the Flyers have some bright spots within their roster and AHL system as they face the impending doom of the 2022-2023 season. There are a few key players that will be key pieces soon that I feel the need to explore.
Morgan Frost is one such player. Frost scored four points against the Coyotes and was a dominant force in the Flyers' offense. His newly formed line of JVR, Frost, and Tippett amassed 10 points. The offensive outburst was a breath of fresh air and was all centered around Frost.
Frost was a first-round draft pick 27th overall in the 2017 draft. he's played 29 games with four goals 6 assists and 10 points.

Cam York is the second player I would like to discuss. Due to Tony DeAngelo's absence, York was called up from the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. York certainly made a great impression and scored an important goal against the Colorado Avalanche.
He brings speed and skill as a defenseman and should remain with the Flyers until the end of the year and going forward. He's certainly another bright spot that needs to be recognized. York was also another first-round draft pick in the 2019 entry draft 14th overall.
The final player within the Flyers organization who will become a future star is his forward Cutter Gauthier. Cutter was selected to the World Junior Championship camp this year for the United States and is having a great year with Boston College.
Gauthier will be a player that will help drive this offense and be a recognizable force, and at 18 years old and six foot two he has room to grow and mature. He was selected 5th overall in the first round of the 2022 Entry Draft.
So in my opinion I feel that the Flyers do have several great players on the rise and should make an impact with this team within the next few seasons.
