Obviously, the Philadelphia Flyers will not take a part in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

However, it doesn't mean that some players will see their season end on April 29th. As usual, the World Championship will begin a little bit after the start of the playoffs in the NHL.
This year, the first game is planned to take place on May 13th.
And multiple Flyers players could take part of this tournament. For Team Canada, Travis Konecny, Carter Hart and Travis Sanheim are certainly going to get a call to participate.

For Team USA, Noah Cates, Bobby Brink, Cam Atkinson, Cam York and Kevin Hayes are all potential candidates.
We know that players love to represent their countries and they will have an opportunity to do so. However, in the cases of Atkinson and Hayes, they could possibly decline the invitation. They both had some rough moments this season due to injury and they could benefit from a long summer to be back at 100% in October. Same thing for Carter Hart...
We'll see where things go, but it will be a very interesting thing to follow...
