A scary incident between two Flyers players...
With 2022 on the verge of closing, two words come to mind for this Flyers season which is bad luck. Repeatedly the Flyers were bitten by this idea and during the Los Angeles Kings game today bad luck seemed to reign again.
During the first period at 11 minutes and 58 seconds, Wade Allison and Kevin Hayes collided with one another in which Allison had to leave the ice and go to the dressing room. Allison has been no stranger to injuries this season as he sustained a lower-body injury earlier this year which cost him up to five weeks of playing time.
The good news, however is that Allison ended up returning to the bench not long after. The Flyers organization will monitor Allison's health to see if anything is reoccurring.
The Flyers' next game will be in Anaheim against the Ducks, On January 2nd, the start time will be 10:00 PM eastern.
