Saturday night, the Maple Leafs and the Arizona Coyotes concluded a trade that sent Nick Ritchie and a conditional second round pick to Arizona in exchange for Ryan Dzingel (who's a Shark right now) and Ilya Lyubushkin.
Well, it seems like the two GMs like to make some deals between themselves because they just made another one this evening, as goalie Carter Hutton was traded to Toronto in exchange of future considerations.
Although it's a minor trade, the Leafs could maybe give a chance to Hutton to be the second goaltender behind Jack Campbell. We saw it tonight; Petr Mrazek isn't good enough for the moment.
Carter Hutton played 3 games this season with the Coyotes, registering a 7.76 goals against average and a .741 save percentage.
