The Philadelphia Flyers got an unexpected chance to to get an elite player who could've changed the face of the franchise when they got the second overall pick in the 2017 NHL Draft.

However, and as you know, it didn't turn out well for them. They selected Nolan Patrick second overall, but he only played 197 games with the Flyers before being traded to the Vegas Golden Knights.
A specialist did a redraft for that year, and the Flyers could have looked pretty different today.
Of course, he placed defenseman Cale Makar No.1. At No.2, defenseman Miro Heiskanen would have been selected by the Flyers in his scenario. But something pretty ironic is that Nolan Patrick would've still been called to the podium by the Flyers, but at the 27th place.
As a reminder, the Flyers selected Morgan Frost 27th overall in 2017. In Adam Kimelman scenario, he would have been called by a team after the 1st round.
