This has been going on for too long.

The Flyers always had problems with developing their prospects, but it's been particularly the case lately. Let's take the example of Morgan Frost. He has been drafted 5 years ago. Since, he only played 52 games in the NHL, and recorded 14 points.
Yeah, there were comparison between him and Brayden Schenn, but those are totally two different cases.
Some scouts (and even assistant GMs) are now criticizing the way Frost has been developed by the organization.

Same thing in the case of Cam York. The team wants him to play more defensive which has a direct impact on his offensive game, which is his strength.
At the end of the day, you got to let these kids play. Yeah, it's important to teach a young player how to play the game on both sides of the ice. But you drafted them for their abilities and the type of player they are, not the type of player you want them to be.
The drafting isn't the problem. The development is.
