The Flyers have enjoyed a fantastic start to their season, going 3-1-0 in their first four games. Many did not expect this, as this team was projected to be one of the worst in the league.

Of course, it's early in the season, and anything can happen over the next 6 to 8 months, but fans should savour these moments while they last.
Tonight, the Flyers were on the road to face the Dallas Stars, who were also off to a strong start, aiming to continue their impressive play from last season. The game proved to be action-packed as Flyers' goaltender Samuel Ersson made a game-saving save that will surely make the highlight reel.
Tensions escalated for both teams when Flyers' forward Travis Konecny was roughed up by Jani Hakapaa, who forced Konecny to the ice. Nick Siler witnessed this and decided to take matters into his own hands by dropping the gloves to defend his teammate.

During overtime, with both teams deadlocked at 4-4, Jason Robertson delivered a fantastic pass to Roope Hintz, who fired a rocket toward the Flyers' goalie. Ersson swiftly snapped his glove to make a critical save, keeping the game alive.
Despite this thrilling hockey game, the Flyers ultimately lost 5-4 in overtime. Currently, the Flyers are leading the Metropolitan Division and have accumulated 7 points in five games.
Next, the Flyers will hit the road again, stopping in Las Vegas to face the Golden Knights on Tuesday, October 24th, at 11:00 PM Eastern Time.
