Alex Ovechkin, who is in Russia for the offseason, was asked to react to the Ivan Fedotov situation by a Russian journalist, Ivan Kaprov.
"You don't want to talk about Fedotov?," asked Kaprov.
"No, why should I?," said Ovechkin.
Ovechkin is a friend of Russian President Vladimir Putin. He took some time before reacting to the war in Ukraine. The only thing he said was "No More War".
In the case of Fedotov, he would have been sent to Severomorsk to serve in the Russian army, after being arrested by the military police for "evading the army", a couple of days ago.
