An Eastern Conference team could pull a trade very soon

One of the teams who'll look at trading many of their players is the Montreal Canadiens. Their season isn't going anywhere, and it's clear that they are in a full rebuild mode.

Tyler Toffoli has already been traded on Monday to the Calgary Flames.

According to TSN insider Pierre LeBrun, the Canadiens and the Rangers are two teams to pay very attention to in the coming weeks.

Also, Canadiens defensemen Ben Chiarot could move in the next 7-10 days, per Pierre LeBrun.

One of the teams interested in Chiarot, the St.Louis Blues, are actually in Montreal to play the Canadiens. Could he be moved as soon as today?
