Another Former Flyer Has Retired From Professional Hockey at a Young Age

The second former Philadelphia Flyers of the day to retire is Tyrell Goulborn, and yet another wasted draft pick. The Flyers used their 72nd overall pick in 2013 on Goulborn, who is a energetic forward with great speed and even had point per game stat lines in the WHL with the Kelowna Rockets.

Like most in Philly as of late, Goulborn was not utilized to his best abilities, and was buried in the minors for many years, only getting one chance to ''prove it'', which lasted a quick two games in a Flyers jersey before being sent back down, to where he would play just another year of AHL hockey where he then would take his talents elsewhere, to the ECHL.

Happy retirement Tyrell!
