It has been rumored that Carter Hart might be one of the pieces to be moved by Danny Briere, depending on the outcomes of the 2018 Hockey Canada investigation.
The Toronto Maple Leafs are one team that would benefit significantly from adding a younger starting goalie, as their negotiating process with Illya Samonov has reached a dead end.
Samsonov and the Toronto Maple Leafs are at odds over a salary. While the Leafs propose a $2.4 Million AAV, Samsonov wants $4.9 Million.
