After a successful 15-year career in the NHL, Nate Thompson has officially announced his retirement at the age of 38. The former Philadelphia Flyer played a total of 844 games, recording 164 points and 401 penalty minutes.
Thompson's journey in the league included stints with the Boston Bruins, New York Islanders, Tampa Bay Lightning, Anaheim Ducks, Ottawa Senators, Los Angeles Kings, Montreal Canadiens, Philadelphia Flyers, and Winnipeg Jets.
