General manager Chuck Fletcher assured Flyers fans prior to the season kicking off that Sean Couturier and Cam Atkinson were good to go and healthy for the season opener, but like most things said by Chuck Fletcher, that was quickly thrown down the drain.
The same situation took place with Couturier, and Ellis, before they were discovered to be missing this entire season. What are the Flyers hiding from us? You sadly never know nowadays..
Atkinson, who finished last season with 50 points and was second on the squad in scoring, would be a welcome addition to a Philadelphia group that is currently in the bottom five in terms of goals scored thus far.
