The Ottawa senators came into the offseason looking to improve their club and by the looks of it, in a big way. They had made some big move and could actually be a playoff team this season. With some already really good players like Brady Tkachuk and others.
Let's take a look at some of the moves made this offseason from the Ottawa Senators.

Alex Debrincat
A trade that sent Debrincat to the Senators and the 7th overall pick in the draft, plus more to the Blackhawks. A superstar player in the making, if he is not there already. Scoring 41 goals and 37 assists for 78 points is extremely impressive and going to help this Ottawa team get to the playoffs.

Claude Giroux
Bringing in a former captain like Claude Giroux was a huge move. He will probably play with Debrincat on the wing and powerplay time. A huge move made by the Sens and they are starting to look pretty serious.
