The Toronto Maple Leafs superstar registered a hat trick in his team's victory against the Tampa Bay Lightning to bring his goal total on the season at 54.

It's simple : he has tied the franchise high goals by a player in a single season. And there's still 12 games to go. He's on pace for 65 goals, which would tie him with Alex Ovechkin for most goals in a campaign since 1996-97.
