Despite the very bad results that the Flyers are having since Mike Yeo took over the head coach position, he is giving his all to help his players. Travis Sanheim, Travis Konecny, Oskar Lindblom are playing so much better with Mike Yeo behind the bench than Alain Vigneault.

It also seems that he succeeded to put Ivan Provorov back on track.
However, some people don't want him to be with the Flyers next year, which seems a bit excessive. Of course, the team needs a new head coach - and there is some really good one on the market, including former Flyer Rick Tocchet.
But Mike Yeo could still be helpful as an assistant. In fact, Charlie O'Connor, from The Athletic, thinks that it could be a possibility.
"Now, if Yeo doesn't get the head coaching gig for 2022-23, it wouldn't shock me to see him hang around as an assistant. He has a strong relationship with Fletcher, and I do get the sense he really likes being a part of the Flyers organization and coaching this group of players. That said, a new coach very well might demand to hire all of his own assistants, and that could leave Yeo out," wrote O'Connor.
