Avalanche lose an important player to the Kraken

Burakovsky, 27, recently played with the Colorado Avalanche with whom he played three seasons and won the Stanley Cup.

The 6'3 Swedish winger was drafted 23rd in 2013 and posted 22 goals and 39 assists in 80 games last season. Through the last three years with the Avs, Burakovsky has been a consistent goal threat, averaging over 20 goals during his time in Denver.

His first Stanley Cup came back in 2018 as a member of the Washington Capitals.
