The Colorado Avalanche's star player Nathan MacKinnon was injured during Monday nights game against the Philadelphia Flyers, and Avalanche fans are furious. The Philadelphia Flyers were not taking it easy on the superstar during the first period, which lead to him leaving the game in crucial pain.

The play shown above where MacKinnon endured his injury seemed like every other scrum throughout the league, but sadly MacKinnon got twisted up awkwardly.

Reports have now surfaced from the Colorado Avalanche's head coach that MacKinnon has suffered an upper-body injury and will be missing roughly four weeks or more of playing time.
