As the 2024 NHL All-Star break comes to a close and the NHL transitions back into the bulk of the regular season, some teams resumed practice on Sunday, including the Philadelphia Flyers. The Flyers took the ice in Hollywood, Florida on Sunday afternoon as they prepare to take on the Florida Panthers on Tuesday night. One sight at practice was especially pleasant for the Flyers and their fans as they desperately need to get back on track to save their season.
Although his game status has yet to be announced for Tuesday night, it appears that Tippett is on the right track and could be back soon. Flyers fans will learn more about Tippett's status in the coming days.
Despite not playing the last five games, Tippett has been very busy as he recently signed an 8-year contract extension with the Flyers as Danny Briere made sure to make Tippett one of the cornerstones for the future of the Flyers.
In 46 regular season games this year, Tippett has amassed 30 points on 18 goals and 12 assists. Tippett's shot making ability and quickness in transition has been a major key to the Flyers offensive success this season.
