Former Philadelphia Flyers forward Max Willman is not giving up on his NHL dreams just yet. He will be attending the New Jersey Devils' 2023 training camp on a professional tryout.

Over the past four years, Willman has been part of the Flyers' organization, spending the majority of his time with their AHL affiliate, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. Despite primarily playing in the minors, he managed to make appearances in 50 NHL games, including nine games in the previous season.
During his stints with the Flyers, Willman contributed four goals and two assists, accumulating six points. Hailing from Barnstable, Massachusetts, he honed his skills playing college hockey at Brown University and Boston University before making his professional debut in the 2019-20 season.
Willman's journey continues as he strives for another shot at a lasting NHL career, this time with the New Jersey Devils.
