Mike Babcock

Babcock clarified,
"During meetings with our players and staff, I asked them to share family pictures from their phones to help us get to know each other better. There was nothing more to it."
He expressed disappointment in how the podcast portrayed these meetings, emphasizing their importance.

Boone Jenner

Jenner supported Babcock, stating, "During our conversation, Babs asked about my family, upcoming wedding, and hockey matters. He then requested family photos, which I gladly shared." Jenner saw this as a positive step in building relationships and believed the situation was blown out of proportion.
Ongoing Controversy
Despite these explanations, Bissonnette remains skeptical, urging Babcock to reconsider his approach. He claims that several players have confirmed similar incidents, fueling the debate within the hockey community. While both sides have voiced their perspectives, the controversy surrounding this incident continues to spark discussions and differing opinions among fans and players.
