What we are aware of:
-Braun, Hayes, Provorov and 'Possibly' DeAngelo to be used as trade bait to acquire young players, who John Tortorella can develop (example used by Friedman; Owen Tippett).
-Fletcher has pulled out of a trade for a highly touted prospect Vitali Kravstov

Now that James Van Riemsdyk trade talks are picking up we are now aware that it is confirmed that James Van Riemsdyk will no longer be with the Philadelphia Flyers after weekend:
Elliotte Friedman on Flyers:
DeAngelo has had possible interest from Carolina in re-acquiring him, among others. The Hurricanes traded his rights for a 2nd, 3rd and 4th round pick. Chuck signed him to a 2 year, $10M deal the same day.

***JVR will move between now and Friday.

Teams have reportedly shifted their focus on James Van Riemsdyk after Timo Meier was traded from the San Jose Sharks, JVR is a more affordable option, but the Flyers will need to retain salary.
