BREAKING: NHL Teams Best Defensemen Has Stepped Away From The NHL
Nothing's more important than family, this applies to everyone including NHL athletes. Today the Vegas Golden Knights announced that one of their star defenseman Alex Pieterangelo has stepped away from the NHL and will remain out indefinitely due to an illness within his family.
The 32 year old defenseman, is in his third season with the Vegas Golden Knights. In 23 games he has three goals 18 assists for 21 points.
It is completely understandable to do so and with the holidays so close it's even more important to do what's necessary. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Pieterangelo family and we wish nothing but the best during this uncertain time.
