Earlier this week, it was reported that Owen Tippett and the Philadelphia Flyers would discuss an extension soon.

According to an NHL Insider, the Philadelphia Flyers couldn't afford the wingers' asking price.
Owen Tippett's agency (Murray Koontz) has addressed Anthony Di Marco's report, saying there is «zero truth» to it.

Obviously, Tippett wants to be paid for his production, and there were reports that he was seeking $7 million a year.
As his agency Murray Koontz responded to Anthony Di Marco on "X" formerly known as Twitter, today, those rumors are just that - rumors. Tippett's agent reported that there is 'zero truth' to the report of Tippett's asking price.
