Seattle Kraken Forward Taken to The Hospital Following Skate Blade Laceration

Seattle Kraken forward Jordan Eberle faced a harrowing ordeal during a recent practice session when he sustained a significant injury. Eberle suffered a deep cut from a skate blade to the upper part of his leg, necessitating immediate hospitalization.

In response to Eberle's unfortunate injury, the Kraken acted swiftly to address the void in their lineup. They recalled top prospect Shane Wright from their AHL affiliate as an emergency replacement.

Kraken general manager Ron Francis shed light on the nature of Eberle's injury, characterizing it as a "deep cut" near his quad muscle area. This unsettling incident transpired when Jaden Schwartz, in the midst of practice, accidentally stepped on a puck, lost his balance, and inadvertently caused his skate blade to injure Eberle.
