As reports claim, the forward has signed a three-year deal with the SHL club Skellefte AIK.
Despite signing with the team in the off-season, Johnsson failed to crack the bottom-six and was sent down to the AHL.
This is just one more nail in the coffin for the depth forward, as he didn't report to the Wilkes-Barre Penguins.
It is likely that this deal marks the end of the forward's NHL career, but he played 259 games, scoring 48 goals and 68 assists for 116 points in that time.
