Kyle Dubas has done some dirty work by placing a former Toronto Maple Leaf on unconditional waivers.
Andreas Johnsson, a former Leaf and current depth option for the Penguins, has been placed on unconditional waivers in order to terminate his contract.

As reports claim, the forward has signed a three-year deal with the SHL club Skellefte� AIK.
Despite signing with the team in the off-season, Johnsson failed to crack the bottom-six and was sent down to the AHL.
This is just one more nail in the coffin for the depth forward, as he didn't report to the Wilkes-Barre Penguins.
It is likely that this deal marks the end of the forward's NHL career, but he played 259 games, scoring 48 goals and 68 assists for 116 points in that time.
