BREAKING: Philadelphia Flyers announce another awesome signing
On Monday, the Philadelphia Flyers announced the signing of defenseman Marc Staal to a one-year contract worth $1.1 million.
The 36-year-old veteran joins the Flyers after a productive season with the Florida Panthers, where he recorded 15 points, including three goals and 12 assists, in 82 regular-season games.
Although he didn't register any points in the playoffs, Staal played an integral role as the Panthers made it to the Stanley Cup Final.
