Interim General Manager Daniel Briere lauded Laughton's nomination, recognizing his unquestionable merits as the Flyers' candidate for the esteemed King Clancy Memorial Trophy. "Scott's recognition is undeniably well-deserved," Briere declared. "His exceptional performance on the ice this season, coupled with his leadership both within the locker room and beyond, has been truly commendable.
