Like Claude Giroux, Rasmus Ristolainen could be living his last moments as a Flyer. His contract situation, the fact that Philadelphia will not make the playoffs and his style of play are three arguments for contending teams to try to get him at the deadline.

The Flyers seems to like the Finnish player a lot, and they want to bring him back, but it appears that it's not really reciprocal...
According to James Iacovone, Rasmus Ristolainen "isn't too keen on re-signing in Philadelphia".
For the moment, Ristolainen is injured and will be absent for at least a week, as he was put on injury reserve yesterday. If this information is confirmed, the Flyers must do everything to trade him and get the maximum they can for the D-man.
In his first season with the Flyers, Ristolainen registered 2 goals and 9 assists in 42 games.
