On the fourth period Twitter and Youtube channel, hockey analysts David Pagnotta and Dennis Bernstein spoke out about the Philadelphia Flyers trade bait not named Claude Giroux. Outside of Brassard, Ristolainen and Braun, Pagnotta notes that many teams are circling in on Travis Konecny, a player almost dealt in the offseason.
«He's another player to watch. I think Philadelphia, as they look to shift their roster a little bit. I think Konecny is a player whose name we're going to hear a little bit more in the next four weeks,» says Pagnotta.
Bernstein then adds that he believes Konecny could be a good fit in Los Angeles with the Kings and their team.
«Look out for that. That could be a possibility on a long term basis. I don't think about a rental. I don't think at the deadline but maybe later on.»
Konecny has 8 goals and 20 assists in 46 games this year and has three seasons left making 5.5 million dollars a year.
