Last week Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby was not too happy after whining to the referee, which lead to him getting ejected from the game. Crosby was asked on the officiating of the game, where he would then say ''I am not allowed to say how i really feel''. That marked Crosby's first ejected out of his entire NHL career.
After that stopped trending, suddenly it picked back up due to Brad Marchand's opinion being revealed in an interview, and aside from stating ''i am not allowed to say how i really feel'', Marchand let it out after taking a tough 2-1 loss.
Around the league, whether you call everything chintzy (poor quality) like they did on CC' or Lindy' [Hampus Lindholm], or let it all go. It can't be half-and-half throughout the game. You know guys have no idea what they can and can't do, but that's part of it.
Marchand may actually be right.. did i just say that? All jokes aside the NHL officiating has been very awful this season, and many players have noticed.
