There were some tense moments during the Flyers - Predators game today when Predators forward Flip Forsberg took a thundering hit from Flyers defenseman Rasmus Ristolainen. Risto laid a hard check against Forsberg, in which he didn't prepare for the fall, and his head hit the ice twice directly.

All fans, with both benches remained quiet as they assessed Forsberg's injury, and when he skated off the ice with aid from his teammates, he received well-deserved applause.
Numerous people have weighed in on the hit. Most Predators fans feel this hit was dirty and want a review by the NHL players' safety department. Others think it was a clean hit, and the result was unfortunate.

The 28-year-old left winger has played all 50 games of the predator season, scored nineteen goals, and had 23 assists for 42 points.
We also wish Mr. Forsberg the best and hope his injury is not severe.
