The Capitals have put Dennis Cholowski on waivers this afternoon. He had already been picked up through waivers in October by the Caps, but his experience lasted 4 months.

He played 7 games in the NHL with the team this season, recording one assist and a minus-four differential. He was originally drafted in the first round (20th overall) by the Detroit Red Wings, before being claimed by the Seattle Kraken at the Expansion Draft.
He certainly could be an interesting pickup for the Flyers. He'll be an RFA at the end of the season, so if the experience doesn't work, it's no big deal. Let us remember that he had a pretty decent rookie season with the Red Wings, during the 2018-19 season, recording 16 points in 52 games. Even if he has played 111 NHL games, he didn't really get a chance to prove himself.
His puck moving capacities are certainly his biggest strength, but he has to be more reliable in his zone to establish himself in the NHL.
