This season is a mess and Chuck Fletcher knows it. With that being said, his objective is simple: bringing back the team where it belongs; in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Yesterday, Chuck Fletcher (GM), Daniel Briere (special assistant to the GM) and Ian Anderson (director of hockey analytics) were present at a Town Hall meeting organized by the Flyers in front of season ticket holders.
One of them asked Fletcher why should they renew their season tickets. And the GM answered by explaining a little bit of his plan for the weeks/months to come.
"In terms of our team, we have good pieces, but clearly we need more talent. This year Claude Giroux is an unrestricted free agent. It remains to be seen what happens there. He leads our team in scoring, so clearly we have to look for some more top-end talent, but we have some good pieces and we have some kids coming, we have some good people looking for more talent and we're going to do whatever we have to do to get better," said Chuck Fletcher

Also, Flyers' GM adressed the chance that defenseman Rasmus Ristolainen stayed with the team. You really feel that they want him to sign an extension, but we'll see what will happen.
"In terms of Ristolainen, obviously I paid a big price to trade for him with the expectation and hope that he'd be a part of this group going forward, and that's something we're working on."
