Flyers fans really thought that another bad news was coming

The Flyers are set to play the Oilers tonight. The team had a morning skate this morning at Wells Fargo Center, but something really intriguing happened : everybody was there, excluding three players : Wade Allison (injured), Nate Thompson (injured)...and Derick Brassard.
Mike Yeo was reassuring during his post-practice press conference, saying that Brassard will indeed play tonight. However, he said that he wasn't at practice because they were "saving him for the game."
It's a bit weird. Brassard had a lot of time to come back from his injuries. He only played one game since his return to play so using the "maintenance" explanation to justify his absence is a bit odd.
Is Brassard at 100%? I don't think so. But trade deadline is in 20 days and the forward is a candidate to be traded so that's why he's playing even though he could still be injured...
