Could Chuck Fletcher change his plans ahead of the deadline?

We sure know that the Flyers are going to be sellers at the trade deadline, as Claude Giroux, Rasmus Ristolainen (?) and Justin Braun are the three principal players that are attracting interest around the league.

In the case of Braun, could Chuck Fletcher change his plans and decide to extend defenseman Justin Braun instead of trading him ?

If the best proposal is a 3rd round pick, should Fletcher refuse the offer? To be honest, Braun has been very valuable for Philadelphia. We also know that GM Fletcher wants to make a quick reset and attract some very good players this summer in order to make the playoffs next year.

Philadelphia's right side of the defence is certainly going to need some help next year, so keeping Braun could very much be a good idea, especially if the offer for him at the deadline isn't that good.
