Wade Allison is likely to play his second NHL game of the season while Kevin Hayes will draw back in the lineup this Saturday against the Chicago Blackhawks.

Reported by Sam Carchidi on Twitter, interim head coach Mike Yeo said that both Hayes and Allison may play this Saturday.
Hayes has been out since Jan. 17, having undergone a procedure to drain fluid from his abductor region. Should he return Saturday Mar. 5, he will have missed around 7 weeks. The 29-year-old has played 20 games, good for 3 goals and 6 assists this year. With the team decimated down the middle and with Giroux likely leaving, it is a welcome sight to have a veteran centre back in the lineup.

On the other hand, Wade Allison should also be good to go for Saturday. The 24-year-old has seen his young career riddled with injuries. Just as he had his first shot in the NHL a month back, he picked up an MCL sprain which sidelined him for 6 weeks.
The winger has had an up and down season, dealing with constant injury setbacks. After having two different ankle sprains in 2021, he also suffered an injury to his elbow playing in the AHL. At this point, he has had around four major injuries in the span of about a year.
The Flyers are slowly but surely getting some bodies back. The team faces the Oilers tomorrow at 7:00 ET and has a 16-26-10 record; good for second to last in the Metropolitan Division.
