The Toronto Maple Leafs' Friday night went from bad to worse , after the news that Maple Leafs super star Auston Matthews is out with an injury, the Leafs would get embarrassed by their battle of Ontario rivals the Ottawa Senators.
Despite Matthews injury, the Leafs were odds on favorite to win this one, but the Senators decided to spoil the odds, beating the Leafs by a score of 6-2.
Leafs Ilya Samsonov has been outstanding this season for the Leafs, but would look average at best, especially on this highlight reel goal scored by former Philadelphia Flyers Captain Claude Giroux.
