Kevin Hayes is having a pretty good year for the Philadelphia Flyers, up to this point he has a stat line of 15-30-45 in 49 games played this season and is sitting second on the team in points. Hayes 30 is averaging 18:02 of time per game this year and picked up 15 of his 45 points on the powerplay with 6 of them being goals.

Hayes is on track to surpass his previous career high in points (55) which he set back in 2018-19 with the Winnipeg Jets. He is also only 6 assists shy of tying his previous career high (36) which he also set that year with the Jets.
Hayes signed an extension back in 2019-20 with the Philadelphia Flyers for 7 years at $7,142,857. He is signed until the end of the 2025-26 season and after that he becomes a UFA. According to Anthony Di Marco of The Fourth Period the Boston Bruins have picked up interest in Philadelphia Flyers forward Kevin Hayes.
The Boston Bruins currently only have $2,325,000 in cap space so the Flyers would have to retain at least 50% of Hayes contract and Boston would have to dump some cap, but this move could heavily improve the Bruins offensive juggernaut even more. Boston presently leads the NHL in goal differential with a +82 (183 GF 101 GA) and adding someone of the likes of Hayes would give them some extra depth scoring that will be important come playoffs.
This move would make sense for the Flyers with Hayes having the best year of his career so far and having such a high trade value. Hayes being a Massachusetts native makes things more interesting as he would be able to play for his hometown team.
