Last season's trade deadline was a tough one for Flyers fan, as everyone knew what the future had in store for fan favorite, Claude Giroux.
Giroux had spent 15 seasons in Philly, and according to him, he never thought his career would take him anywhere else.
Giroux had a stellar time in Philly, amassing 900 points in 1,000 games played.

I don't think anyone can blame Giroux for thinking he would stay in Philly forever. Unfortunately, he was just in a tough situation last year.
