Claude Giroux is probably in his last week as a Flyers player, his trade is almost certain even if his destination is still unknown. Last night, the captain said during his press conference that it was "probably the worst year since I've been here."

It's not the dream season that Giroux wanted as his last in Philadelphia, Flyers keep losing and yesterday's defeat against the bottom team of the league, the Montreal Canadiens, was hard to swallow. During the game, Giroux managed to score his 900th point in the NHL but this still didn't cheer him up for the press conference.
"It's not a position I want to be in," said the captain about having to make a decision on trade deadline.

Giroux will play his 1000th game Thursday and it may well be the last in an orange & black shirt. The club has prepared a pregame ceremony to honor their player before puck drop.
