The next 26 days leading to the trade deadline are going to be very animated.
At least, for Flyers fans, there's something to look forward to. Claude Giroux also knows that, and he seems to be ready to be traded. Or, at least, he's "opening up more" to being moved, which says everything you need to know.
He's gone, unfortunately. Giroux could bring a lot of assets back to the Flyers and it's the most important move in Fletcher's tenure with the organization. If he screws this up, it could have a devastating impact for the future.
Flyers GM and Giroux will, according to Anthony Di Marco, meet next week to discuss the player's future.

Also, up to eight teams have already inquired on Giroux's availability. We know that Colorado, Minnesota, St.Louis, Carolina and Florida are interested. With that being said, another team seems to be interested in Giroux : the Tampa Bay Lightning.
We'll see where it goes, but Giroux is going to remain a Flyer for at least the next 9 games. Why? He is set to play his 1000th game in the NHL (and with the Flyers) on March 17th against Nashville.
