It's practically a given that Connor Bedard, theyoung hockey phenom, will be selected first overall in this summer's NHL Draft.
In his brief career, Bedard hasn't let anyone down, and right now he's carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders in the hope that he can help Team Canada win back-to-back gold medals at the 2023 World Junior Hockey Championships.
In pre-tournament play, Bedard was Canada's best player. Prior to Monday night's game against Team Czechia, Bedard decided to impress the crowd during warm-ups by performing a sick move that involved banking the puck off his skate and into the air to get a shot on Thomas Milic, the team Canada goaltender.
