Connor McDavid and Other NHL'ers Call Out Ivan Provorov For His Recent Decision
Just 19 days into the year, Ivan Provorov of the Philadelphia Flyers has become the most contentious subject. During the Philadelphia Flyers' "pride appreciation night," players wore jerseys with the pride flag during warmups, and the jerseys were later auctioned off for charity.
While his teammates warmed up, Provorov declined to put on the pride-flagged jersey and sat in the locker room.
Since it happened, it has generated a ton of controversy, and almost every major NHL reporter, player, and organization has spoken out against it.
