Yesterday's 7-4 loss came at the hands of the Colorado Avalanche, one of the NHL's top scoring clubs led by Nathan MacKinnon and Cale Makar. Yesterday's game however, came with some controversy as the Flyers may have been on the wrong side of an incorrect call.

With ten minutes gone in the first period, the Avs struck first taking a 1-0 lead on a Logan O'Connor goal. This goal went under review for a period of time as it appears that O'Connor used his foot to kick the puck past Carter Hart and into the net.
In slow-motion, it really appears that O'Connor used his foot in a kicking motion to influence the puck into the goal. The officials, however, did not think so and upheld their call as the Avs took a 1-0 lead in the first period. By no surprise, this call had Flyers fans on social media in an uproar.
