It's been a crazy few days after the news from the blockbuster trade that sent Johnathan Huberdeau to the Calgary Flames along with Mackenzie Weegar, prospect Cole Schwindt, and a first round draft pick.
Sending Matthew Tkachuk to the Florida Panthers signing a big money deal. We then learned that Huberdeau wasn't happy with the trade feeling blindsided from the Panthers, because they were in early discussions on extension with the Panthers.
This got the rumors scene running wild that Huberdeau is back on the trade block. There was reports that teams were already calling Flames General Manager Brad Treliving for Huberdeau.
